About our Sizing

The green4greens line of ladies golf shirts, is brought to you by Dormie Doris. We are a small Texas company and this is our first line of clothing. Currently we offer only a few styles due to the uniqueness of the line; Eco-friendly shirts for the Curvaceous Woman. 
In early 2010 we performed limited test marketing in Texas.  Not only did we receive a good deal of positive feedback by way of repeat customers, we also received many kudos from retail and wholesale buyers for taking on this much neglected market.
green4greens golf apparel was designed to address some of the issues with today’s ladies golf shirts.  

• We’re not size 0 and do not aspire to be so;
• We are curvaceous or tall and do not want skin-tight clothing;
• We dislike that our new shirts are hip length and after one washing become belly buster shirts;
• We dislike that on the larger sizes, the armholes are down to the waist;
• We dislike tags that rub the inside of the neck and just as bad are those tags that rub against the waist;
• We need something that truly is cooler, absorbent and does not stick;
• We wore polyester in the 80’s.  Now we prefer the feel of natural fabrics;
• And we are definitely interested in being environmentally aware.

green4greens pays attention to small but important details. l

• Size of armholes
• Shoulder width – Width in chest and hips
• Shirt length
• Sleeve length

Our shirts fit even better after washing! Our pricing is in line with other golf apparel retailers yet we have gone the extra distance in using environmentally friendly fabrics. Our shirts are priced the same for ladies M/L size to woman’s 2X plus size.
